Rain, Rain Fall Away I'll Stay Dry Anyway! With My Procella Travel Umbrella

I don't mind rain that much. As a person that loves plants, I know the benefits of rain far outweighs any reason I might grumble about it. However, there are times where I don't want to arrive at my destination dripping wet.
I received the Procella Travel Umbrella to review right as we entered into a stretch of daily thunderstorms that brought us a lot of rain. I love the quality of this umbrella!

You wouldn't think there would be much of a difference from one umbrella to the next, but there is! And this one is my new favorite!

Sometimes I don't mind walking in the rain. It's peaceful and I don't melt. Then there are times when I don't want to go everywhere looking like a drowned rat. I like a larger umbrella when we are out in the rain for more than a few minutes, because then me and the hubby can both huddle under it and stay dry, but for those quick dashes to and from the car, a regular umbrella is a big hassle. It a pain to maneuver it out of the car to open it. It's a hassle to shove it into the car while you're still standing in the rain. You can end up as wet as if you had just went ahead and walked through the rain unprotected.
The Procella is awesome for it's features. Besides the compact size that allows it to fit in my bag, it opens instantly with the push of a button. When it opens there is a 42 inch canopy to cover you.

The double canopy allows you to keep it under control even in windy conditions. The first night I received this umbrella, it was raining and windy. I went out and walked around and even allowed the wind gusts to blow into the canopy and it didn't faze it. It didn't flip inside out. It didn't get ripped out of my hands. It just puffed a little as the wind moved through.

When your ready, with just the push of the button, it closes just as quickly as it opened. I love that feature because I don't have to push in metal clips that can pinch my fingers. This is a great feature for little ones using the umbrella!

The handle is a great non-slip, easy to grip material. The only problem I have had is that even with small to medium hands, I find it a little too small for that few moments when I am holding it with one hand and pushing the button to open or close the umbrella. It would be great if it were just a tad larger.

Overall, I really like this umbrella. It is more heavy duty than the travel umbrellas I have had before. It's much more convenient to carry than a full size umbrella and the features give it stand out performance. I have already gotten in the habit of keeping it tucked into my bag so I am prepared anytime the need for an umbrella arises. If you need a Compact Umbrella, this one is an awesome one to have. It comes in a nice sturdy box that also makes it nice if you want to give one for a gift. You can find this one over on Amazon. You'll be like a super hero... able to block thee sun or deflect the rain with a single thumb!
