Power Theory External Battery Charger Review

Having a back up power source no longer has to mean carrying around a brick-sized device that weighs as much as a bowling ball. I received a Power Theory® External Battery Charger to review and it is so easy to use and carry! 

My first surprise came with their lightning fast shipping! I placed my order on a Monday and it was delivered the very next day! 

My next surprise was upon opening the package. This thing is SMALL! It is slightly larger than a credit card/debit card/gift card. Only slightly. It's only as thick as four quarters stacked on top of each other. The small size allows this battery charger to be carried in your purse, a bag or slipped into your shirt pocket. 

Don't let the size fool you though.  It's big on power. I keep it handy for my tablet. The battery in that thing seems to drain so quick and usually at the most inopportune moments. 

I love that there are not separate charging cables to keep up with. The micro USB connector is built right in and stores safely tucked into the lower corner of the charger. It also includes an Apple lighting adapter.  There is a little cable for charging the battery pack with your computer, but it isn't something you have to carry in order for the charger to work.

Weighing only 2.1 ounces, this charger isn't a pain to carry and it isn't an odd shape that is hard to find a comfortable place to keep it so it is still handy when you need it. 

I try to always have a charger in my bag when I leave the house, you know, just in case.... the Power Theory charger is my new favorite. It barely weighs anything, takes up minimal space and with the different devices each of us carries, if anyone of us ends up with a dead battery, I know I have a reliable charger.
