Ever need a little extra light? Here's a handy little gadget that can throw some light on you. The Onite Portable USB LED Bulb is great little light that offers lightweight portability.

I received one of these to review and I find it to be a fun and functional little lamp. I like it when I need some light but don't want to turn on the overhead lights in the room.

Often, if I am still working on the laptop and my husband is watching TV, I'll use this to throw a little light on my side so I can see the keyboard without forcing him to sit there in the bright overhead lights. He gets migraine headaches and is sensitive to bright light so this allows me the light I need without blinding him. 

If you have one of the USB converters, you can plug this lamp in to a regular outlet to use where you need it without having to have your laptop.

There is a little metal hook so you can hang it beside or above you and keep it hands free. It doesn't even get very warm and can be touched, moved and held while it is on without burning you. 

There is an on/off switch on the cord that makes it nice for controlling it without fishing for the plug every time, especially if you're using it in the same place for a bit.

I have used this several times and like it quite well. The only thing missing from this lamp is cordless portability. It would be great if it was rechargeable so that if you were not near an outlet or if the power were out, you could still use it. I mean it does work off the laptop's battery, but if your laptop battery is like mine, it doesn't really last all that long. It would just be a little more greatness if it were able to work independently. 

I like having this lamp handy for some added light, directed light so I don't bother others around me and even carrying it in my bag to use when I am on the go. It is convenient ready lighting when I need or want it. I have a few other things from Onite and they are quality items that will last and I expect nothing less from this little bulb!
