100% Natural Konjac Facial Sponge with Activated Bamboo Review

I had never heard of a Konjac Facial Sponge  until I received the chance to review this one. I will admit, when I first opened the shipping packaging and saw this little sponge, I wasn't sure what to think. It looked so small! I expected something larger. It was also hard as stone and looked like a piece a lava rock! Whaaa..?!?! I thought who in their right mind would rub rough lava rock-like material on their face?

I read the directions, still not fully convinced. Later that evening when I took it to my bathroom, I did as instructed and began running water over "the rock". It very quickly began softening and  grew a little bit larger. Amazingly, that lump coal got nice and soft. The instructions state that the sponge can be used with or without your regular facial cleanser so the first few times I used only the sponge. I LOVE it! It was super soft and gentle, yet my face felt clean. I then tried it with a facial cleanser. It worked fabulously that way too! 

I usually have a break out once a month - girls, you know what I mean! Hormones and what not. That time came and passed in the midst of my review of the sponge and... nothing. My face remained clear and feeling good! Most nights I don't use my cleanser, just the sponge. My skin feels great. Not dry or tight.

Care of the Konjac Sponge is super easy too. Simply rinse it, press it between your hands to remove excess water and hang it on the included hook to air dry. The hook has a suction cup so you can keep in near the sink or in the shower. It is recommended that you replace the sponge every 2 - 3 months.
