Petunia Skin Care Derma Roller

Now that I've used this, I'm pretty excited about receiving the Petunia Skincare Derma Roller to review. I was initially scared of it, I mean it's NEEDLES! And needles poke, hurt and make HOLES! But hey, I'm willing to try something new.
I'm not going to kid you, it is not like rubbing rose petals on your skin (why would you do that anyway?) The very first time it feels weird and even a little bit painful and you learn quickly... VERY quickly, that it does not require much pressure at all. You also learn not to go too quickly. You simply roll it over your skin. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to test is a small area first. At first, there is pain in more sensitive ares like the forehead.
After one use
I have been using it on my face, one arm and hand, my knees and a spot on my right leg. I use it once a day. I started out using it in the morning, but have switch to a nighttime routine. There is a few minutes where my skin feels ....slightly irritated. It fades away pretty quickly and I then apply my regular moisturizer. My face feels really good since I started using the Derma Roller. It feels tighter and the lines are less noticeable.

My forearms have sun damaged areas from years ago. Sometimes it isn't as noticeable, but when I am outside or my skin gets hot, the damage shows up more readily. I have using the roller on my left arm, but not the right so I could compare them. I tried to get photos, but it was very difficult. The damage on my left arm appears to be lighter and not as noticeable as the right arm. The usually white splotches are less noticeable! Even the surface of the back of my left hand looks better than the right.

My knees. I was cursed with something I rarely see on others: dark patches on my knees. My mom has them, her mom has them. I have scrubbed, moisturized and done almost everything I could think of to lighten them. I rarely kneel without having a pillow or something under my knees. It took a long time, but I finally managed to get rid of the dark patches.... until we worked on the friend's house last month. There was lots of kneeling and propping up on my knees. By the time we were done, the brown patches were back. The derma roller has helped minimize the brown in a very short time. YEA!

The spot on the back of my right leg is a mystery. When I first noticed it, I assumed it was something silly, like an ingrown hair from shaving or a pimple type bump. But then it didn't go away. And I hit it with the razor and it bled. My mom has psoriasis pretty badly. It is on the backs of her legs and her her forearms and I was afraid this was the beginning of that for me. With the short time I have been using the roller, the spot has been reduced and appears to be shrinking.

If you have the following things, Derma Roller can help:
~ Superficial acne scarring
~ Deep scars and stretch marks
~ Sagging skin
~ Wrinkles and fine lines
~ Bumpy dimply skin

With continued use you'll get:
~ Firmer and thicker skin
~ Help smooth facial scars
~ Stimulate collagen and elastin production
~ Help with scar removal and stretch marks
~ Stimulate hair growth
~ Diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
~ Save money from surgical and laser treatments
~ Can be used on any part of the skin
~ Creates multi micro-channels in the skin, allowing products more able to penetrate the skin at a deeper level than just surface application

The Derma Roller is a quality device that contains 540 very fine medical grade stainless steel tiny needles with 8 per row – the perfect balance to achieve safe optimal results.

From the short time I have been using it, I can see and feel a difference and I will continue to use it! I hear about people getting things like laser treatments, derma abrasion, injections and even prescription medications, all pricey and even more painful than the Derma Roller! This helps with common problems, you can use it in the privacy of your own home and it doesn't cost and arm and a leg.
