When I think of oranges, I think of sweet, sticky, delicious juice. Delicious to drink, but not exactly what I would want to put on my face though! I see bees getting REALLY intrested in visiting me!
I received this Orange Blossom Water Toner to review and I have learned that this is a new product to love!
Orange Blossom Water comes from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. It has many uses, but my favorite so far is simply as a toner. Orange Blossom water is a natural astringent and has anti-microbial properties. Simply applying it lightly with a cotton ball leaves my face feeling refreshed, but not tight and dry like products that have alcohol or benzoyl peroxide in them.
I'm a clown and keeping my skin clean and clear is pretty important. The grease paint we use gets into every nook and cranny of our faces. I try to use care to protect my skin, especially the sensitive areas like around my eyes. Good cleansers and toners are essential, but I also like to keep it as natural a possible.
This Orange Blossom Water doesn't burn or sting and it gets dirt out of the pores. The lingering scent left on my skin is pleasant, too. It fades away in a short amount of time, but it is pleasant while it's there and it great to not have a choking, gag inducing smell on my face!
Orange Blossom Water has other verstile uses. You can add it to a facial mask for some additional skin healing properties. You can also add it to bath water for a soothing, relaxing bath. You can also use it for aromatherapy, hand freshener, room scent/spray and a facial steam.
