Book Review: Stillwell: A Haunting on Long Island

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I received a copy of Stillwell: A Haunting on Long Island by Michael Phillip Cash for the purpose of review. I brought it in from the mailbox on Thursday night. It had me captivated and I was finished by Saturday night. I would have finished even earlier is life had not interrupted! Every time I picked it up I would meld into the story and everything around me disappeared.  I found myself reading faster and faster and as I got closer to the end I was trying to force myself to slow down because I wasn't ready for it to end!
The characters feel real and you easily connect with them as the story opens and exposes their fresh, raw wounds. Michael Phillip Cash at once keeps you feeling so much for a family trying to overcome tragedy while on the edge of your seat with the next terror around the corner. His rich descriptive words weave together a community, it's people, the past, the present and the future and you expect to look up and see the places and people in front of you.
I enjoyed the read. I can say I wish it had been longer or hadn't gripped me so tightly so I wasn't already finished!

If you'd like to check it out, you can get Stillwell: A Haunting on Long Island By Michael Phillip Cash on Amazon. It is available for Kindle or in paperback.
