Gentle, Soothing Showers with the HotelSpa® 10" Rainfall Color Changing Shower Head

Lately I have been trying out some products that offer personal pampering and care. Today, I have another to share.

I received a HotelSpa®10 Inch Rainfall Color-Changing LED Showerhead to review. I have been wanting one of these for a long time! I know a few people that have similar shower heads and I have heard good things. 

I've been using this one for a few weeks now and for the most part really like it. It was fairly easy to install. At least it looked pretty easy from where I was standing! :) The hubs helped with that part since he is taller than me and could do it without dragging ladders or other short people accessories up the stairs. It did go rather smoothly and he was able to have it connected and ready to use within several minutes.

The HotelSpa® shower head cascades water from the 10 inch head. It falls gently and gives the feel of being in a rain shower. It is incredible relaxing. The 15" arm allows you to adjust the height to your liking.

The shower head has LED lights in it that are powered by the water itself so you don't have to worry about wiring or batteries to power them. 

The lights give you an indication of the water temperature by changing colors. When the water is cold, the lights are blue. When it is warm, the lights turn green and when the water is hot, the lights turn red. 

It took a a few showers to get used to the water falling straight down instead of at an angle, but I'm finding that I do like it. 

I only have two things that fall into the "con" list. One is that the shower head makes a sound like a whine. I am not sure if it is caused from whatever makes the lights work once the water is flowing through it. Since there isn't a separate off switch for the lights, I just don't know. I have kind of gotten used to it for the most part, but I do still notice it when I first turn on the water and when I turn it off. 

The other thing I would have loved for this shower head to have is an adjustment knob so the flow of water could be adjusted. As much as I love the gentle rainfall feel, once in awhile I like to adjust the stream to a pulsating massage. 

Overall I am loving the HotelSpa® Rainfall Shower Head. It makes my shower a spa-like experience.
