Majestic Pure Indian Healing Clay Review

#HealingClay

Clay for health and healing? Who knew when I was a kid playing in the dirt that it was GOOD for me!?!?

Since receiving Majestic Pure's Indian Healing Clay for this review, I have been reading and educating myself about the many and varied uses of this mineral.
It turns out bentonite clay is used for a ton of different things! Some people add small amounts to their water  and drink it to remove toxins from their bodies. When ingested, an ion exchange allows the clay to absorb toxins, contaminates, heavy metals and poisons. I haven't tried that yet, but the ratio is from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon to 8 ounces of water.
Bentonite clay is a naturally occurring mineral that acts as a terrific binding agent. Just as when ingesting it, you can use it on your skin to draw out toxins. Mixing with water to make a mud pack, it can be used to ease and relieve symptoms of eczema and psoriasis.
It can also be used for oily and acne prone skin. You can add 1/2 cup to your bath water and soak for 20 minutes. You can make a facial make using equal parts water or apple cider vinegar and clay. Spread over your face (avoiding the eye area) and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Use once a week.
Did you know the same clay that can benefit your body and your health, can be used in the yard and garden as well? When trimming your trees, you can make a mud pack and apply it to the cut to keep out insects and bacteria.

You can also prevent plants from developing mildew by mixing a 15 parts water to one part clay.
I have used several products on my face lately so I wanted to do something different. My hands have been in terrible shape lately with dry skin, hang nails and flimsy finger nails that have broken and splitting too easily. So I used the clay to do a hand mask. I just mixed about a tablespoon of clay with a little more than a tablespoon of water to make it a wet paste and rubbed it over both hands from the wrists down. I left it on for 15 minutes and then washed it off with warm water. My hands felt so soft and rejuvenated! After just two masks, my hands feel better and my cuticles aren't as dry and cracked. I'll be doing that more often! I am beginning to see why mud baths are popular!
