BTipsy Professional Citrus Squeezer Review

#BtipsyLemonSqueezer

The holidays are slipping up on us very quickly! This time of year often means more baking than usual, specialty recipes, and for some, mixed drinks too. I received a Bitpsy Citrus Squeezer for the purposes of review.

Using fresh ingredients is the key to successful results and the best flavor. With a citrus squeezer that it is this easy to use, you'll never use anything less than the real thing!
The bowl of the BTipsy press is nice and deep so you can use halves instead of quarter slices. The handles are wide and easy to hold, making it very easy to squeeze, getting every drop of juice out.

Squeezing the handles together is nearly effortless and places no strain on your hands or wrists. The easy movement and operation will have you squeezing more than just lemons and limes. It's perfect for Mandarin oranges, small blood oranges, clementines, tangerines, small valencian oranges, Lime key and Tangelos.
Make your own fresh squeezed lemonade or orange juice. Add a splash of fresh juices to your fish or salads. Create great cocktails and mixed drinks.

Lemon Bars

2 lemons, juiced

~ In medium mixing bowl, blend together, butter, 2 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of sugar. When blended, press into bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.

~ In another mixing bowl, blend together the 1 1/2 cups of sugar and 1/4 cup of flour. Mix or whisk in the eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the crust in the 9x13 inch pan.

~ Bake for 20 minutes. The bars will firm up after they cool.

~*~ You can also use limes and a bit of green food coloring to create lime bars in the same fashion. when both pans are completely cooled, you can cut them into uniform squares (about one inch) and arrange the on a try in a green and yellow checkerboard pattern.

The BTipsy Citrus Squeezer is of heavy duty construction that will last for years. The stainless steel construction doesn't retain odors and washes super easy, by hand and or in the dishwasher. The handy ring on the end of the handle makes it easy to hang the squeezer from an hook or on a hanging utensil organizer to keep it within reach.
