This post almost wrote itself the moment I took the Xoundstar® Smart Wireless Bluetooth Speaker out of the box! I received one of these to review and I swooned as soon as I opened it and held it in my hands! It feels sturdy and well built.

I had to restrain myself from immediately professing my love and use it for awhile. After some time using it, I am still very much in love! It has performed better than I dreamed it would.

I connected the Xoundstar Wireless Bluetooth Speaker to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and it has gone everywhere with me since. Each time you turn on the speaker, and it finds the device you linked it to, you get a voice confirmation stating "connected".  I had some songs already on the tablet, so I started turning them on and jamming out while doing laundry, cooking in the kitchen, hanging out in the yard and even just while working on the computer. I used it to ramp up the audio when I watched Netflix.

Then I downloaded the I Heart Radio app and now I am partaking in the joy of not only the terrific speaker but the songs I love, totally uninterrupted! LOVE! 

The battery has been amazing. It is stated that a full charge will give 10 hours of audio play. At this point I am getting far more than that! I use it all day long, turn on some soft music and let it play all night and then still use it the next day. ALL. DAY. And then can still use it into the evening. When the battery needs to recharge, you'll hear the voice tell you "Battery low". 

A cool feature of the Xoundstar Smart Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is it can also be used to accept and make calls! We don't have a land line so I use messenger and a direct link messenger to text back and forth with people and I use the Magic Jack app to make calls from my tablet. When I am listening to music or watching a movie and someone calls me, it automatically pauses the music or movie and allows me to accept the call. To add to the greatness, the call comes through the speaker. I can call someone while in the kitchen or outside and keep doing what ever I am doing. The person I am talking to, can hear me just fine and I can adjust the volume if I need to. 

There are controls on the top of the speaker for volume, play/pause, phone, and skip forward/backwards. You can not only answer and end calls, you can refuse a call and re-dial the last number called! You can even use the Siri function if you connect the speaker to an iPad or iPhone. Have a device that doesn't have bluetooth capabilities but still want a sound boost? No problem! You can use the Line In jack. (NOTE: The Play/Pause and Previous/Next button only work with a bluetooth connection) The speaker can still be connected to the bluetooth device while using the Line In audio. This speaker also has an audio output function that allows you to connect it to other speakers. 

It is larger than the little speakers I have used in the past and the sound is also SO much better! The speaker measures 6.4 x 3 x 2.8 inches. The rubber coating that surrounds the outer part of the speaker make it resistant to sliding around and easy to hold on to. 

I have been putting it through it's paces, using it all day, everyday, even carrying it with me in my backpack. After using this speaker and exploring the functions, I am still deliriously happy with it. It works great for me and I love the portability and range it has.
